The new model shaves off another 0.3mm, which means it’s now only 9.6mm when closed – quite impressive. It has a brushed chrome finish and a tiny LCD display on the front. Open up the U300 and you’ll find a large 2.2 inch colour display and a well-defined keypad. There’s a new 3 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash. The Samsung U300 also has the latest media player software and everything else you’d expect to find in a mid-range Samsung phone. Unlike the D830, the new U300 doesn’t have space for a memory card slot but the 70MB of internal memory should be plenty.
